The Bolivar Lions Club has made a commitment to support the following Missouri Lions Service Projects:

• Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) Relief Fund

• Lions World Services for the Blind (LWSB)

• Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service

The Bolivar Lions Club also has made a commitment to support the following local projects:

Eye Glass Recycling – we have various boxes located in the Bolivar area for the placement of recycled eyeglasses. These glasses are then cleaned, repaired, and reused through the Lions Club International in third world countries.

Eye glasses for the needy – any local individual who is unable to pay for eyeglasses can be eligible for assistance with an eyeglass purchase. You must first meet the criteria of the Bolivar Lions Club to be eligible for this program. Polk County Kids Fund – The purpose of the Polk County Kids Fund is to meet the needs of children in Polk County who would otherwise not have their needs met through any other Social Service Agency or non-profit organization. It is our mission to aid children in distress that fall through the cracks either through service or financial means.
